Folarin Philip Banigbe
Folarin Philip Banigbe was born in 1971 in Ilorin, Kwara State. After his first degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in 1995, he worked for a while in Lagos with Chevron Nigeria and Accenture, before leaving as a bachelor for Port Harcourt in 1997 where he spent the next several years of life working for Shell Nigeria.
He is an IT Professional who at various times had worked in several parts of the world. He is also an entrepreneur founding and managing a number of enterprises amongst which is the local metro newspaper, The Port Harcourt Microscope.
He is also an ordained Pastor of the Word Alive Ministries (aka The Stone Church) and Pastors a branch of the church in Port Harcourt.
An avid writer, he writes for his newspaper and also owns a blog called “Folarin Banigbe- Friend of God” (www.folarinbanigbe.blogspot.com.ng)
He currently sits on the board on a number of companies, but still retains an interest in Technology Consulting.
He enjoys travelling, reading and writing, and is confident that he will still find time to play Golf. He currently lives in Nigeria with his wife and 3 children.
